EZ-PD? CCG5 is a dual-port and EZ-PD? CCG5C is a single-port USB-C Power Delivery (PD) controller supporting downstream facing port (DFP), upstream facing port (UFP), & dual-role port (DRP), while complying with latest PD 3.0 specification. The devices are fully programmable & include a 128 KB flash memory supporting fail-safe boot up & firmware upgrade. EZ-PD? CCG5/CCG5C provides a complete solution for desktops, notebooks, & docking stations.

It offers a comprehensive dual USB-C and USP PD port control solution suitable for desktops, notebooks, and docking stations. Additionally, it can be utilized in dual role and downstream-facing port (DFP) applications. The controller incorporates Infineon's proprietary M0WS8 technology, featuring a 32-bit, 48 MHz Arm? Cortex?-M0 processor with 128 KB flash memory. It integrates two complete Type-C transceivers, including the necessary Type-C termination resistors Rp and Rd, and a high-voltage regulator. VCONN RDS(on) support 1.5 ? and VCONN OCP limit ranges between 400 and 600 mA. EZ-PD? CCG5 supports BC v1.2 source and is available in a 96-BGA package.
