Infineon's TRAVEO? T2G CYT2B7 series MCUs offer exceptional capabilities for automotive body electronics, featuring robust processing power and reliable network connectivity built around the Arm? Cortex?-M4F architecture. This series is tailored for various automotive body applications, including car access, thermal management, and lighting controls. The CYT2B7 series boasts a 160 MHz frequency and a 1 MB flash capacity.

Infineon's TRAVEO??T2G CYT2B7 MCUs ingeniously integrate powerful processing capabilities and network connectivity into Arm? Cortex?-M4F, revolutionizing automotive body electronics. Used for car access, thermal management, HVAC, and lighting, these microcontrollers ensure advanced security via HSM, Arm? Cortex?-M0+ for secure processing, and dual-bank flash for FOTA. Six power modes optimize the ECUs' energy use, complemented by top-tier security for impermeable communications. Enhanced memory and pin count flexibility

TRAVEO? T2G CYT2B7 features a robust 32-bit MCU core led by the 160 MHz Arm? Cortex?-M4 single, a memory spectrum of 1 MB flash, 96 KB work flash, 128 KB SRAM, and an Arm? Cortex?-M0+ dedicated to cryptography. Packaged from 64/80/100./144/176-pin LQFP, these MCUs meet space and layout needs.

The device offers various additional features, up to?6-ch CAN FD, 8-ch LIN-UART. it has also up to 64 channels for the AD converter, with 12-bit resolution and 3x successive approximation ADC (SAR ADC) units. It also boasts up to 12-channel motor control timers, 63-channel 16-bit timer/counter/pulse-width modulation (TCPWM), and 4-channel 32-bit TCPWM for synchronization.

The TRAVEO??T2G CYT2B7 family features a dedicated best-in-class low power mode controller, with its own voltage domain to, not only support low power modes, but also to perform certain operations such as analog measurements, CAN and LIN wakeup, RTC, SRAM retention and basic processing while the rest of microcontroller is in standby.

Safety is the core know-how of Infineon, and all products provide safety mechanism (including WatchDogTimer, ECC Flash/RAM, CRC, Self-test, Protection unit) to ensure a safety platform supporting ASIL-B ISO 26262. State-of-the-art security with Secure Boot support by a dedicated Arm? Cortex-M0+ core and security hardware to accelerate cryptographic functions with ISO21434-complaint.

T2G, a mature, feature-rich driver layer is now available, which is developed, maintained, and supported by in-house TRAVEO? experts. The TRAVEO? T2G AUTOSAR Software was developed in compliance with AUTOMOTIVE SPICE and ISO26262 standards, making it suitable for applications with safety targets up to ASIL-B. Additionally, the delivery package includes the EB Tresos? configuration tool, which comes with a node-locked license.
