About

The AURIX? TC297TA is a cutting-edge microcontroller that offers incredible features for ADAS application. This device boasts a Triple TriCore? with 300 MHz / DSP functionality for optimized performance. Additionally, it comes with 8 MB Flash w/ ECC protection, 384 KB EEProm @ 125 k cycles, and 728 KB + 2 MB RAM w/ ECC protection for radar/ camera image storage. This means that data is not only secure but can also be transferred seamlessly using any of its state-of-the-art connectivity options: 1 x Ethernet 100 Mbit, 2 x FlexRay, 5 x LIN, 4 x SPI, 6 x CAN including data rate enhanced CAN FD. The MCU also features three Delta-Sigma ADC converters, four 12-bit SAR ADC converter, SENT, PSI5, PSI5S sensor interfaces, and a programmable HSM (Hardware Security Module) for enhanced security. With a single voltage supply of 5 V or 3.3 V, and LFBGA-292 package, this microcontroller is perfect for applications that require high processing power and reliable data storage. The ambient temperature range of -40¡ã to +150¡ã makes it suitable for use in harsh environments.

Multi-purpose camera: Multi-purpose cameras play integral roles in vehicle safety features. As their importance skyrockets, camera systems must be optimally integrated. Hence, solutions designed for scalability and a high level of integration are needed.

Infineon offers a highly integrated solution for multi-purpose camera systems that supports the next generation of safety features and functionalities. Choose Infineon for unparalleled benefits from ISO 26262 support and innovative supply concepts.

77 GHz/24 GHz radar: By allowing you to concentrate on application development and integration, a designated ready-to-use chipset is your ticket to success. That's why Infineon offers a system solution for automotive 77 GHz radar systems that reduces the number of components required.

24 GHz radar: Infineon offers precisely what you¡¯re looking for. For instance, our highly-integrated 24 GHz transceiver and AURIX?, our 32-bit multicore ADAS derivative with a dedicated feature set for radar applications. With its SiGe-based technology, Infineon is the first big player to offer a competitive solution with a long-term roadmap approach for any kind of short-range radar ADAS applications.

All ADAS devices have been designed in accordance with the ISO 26262 safety methodology, meaning that they can be involved in automatic decisions to assist drivers, such as emergency braking. The AURIX? TC297TA supports dedicated radar peripherals which include a radar signal processing accelerator with hardware windowing functionality, 4x internal ADCs for flexibility in radar signal acquisition, a 16-bit parallel interface for connecting external ADCs, high-precision input timers, and high-precision output timers for DAC. Additionally, the family has dedicated vision peripherals that feature a picture pre-processing unit, a camera interface up to 100 MHz, and MJPEG compression. Overall, the AURIX? TC297TA system offers high integration for reduced complexity and significant cost savings, an innovative single supply concept that leads to best-in-class power consumption and a reduced number of external supplies, and a diverse lockstep core concept that enables reduced development effort. Furthermore, the system supports ISO 26262 decisions such as emergency braking and features a high-speed trace port that enables reduced requirements on integrated RAM and reduced overhead for automotive instrumentation vision.
