Domestic robots are robots designed to perform household chores and tasks. They are small, autonomous devices that can help with cleaning, cooking, and other household functions to make everyday life easier for homeowners.

Our solutions for domestic robots in home robotics include: Our space- and energy-saving motor control, such as motor inverter switches and integrated motor control solutions. Our efficient and fast battery chargers with USB-C charging and wireless charging for robot power supply systems. Comprehensive battery management systems (BMS). Efficient power management and BMS for domestic robots

Since domestic robots move freely, they require powerful BMS and power management so that they can complete their tasks. Infineon proudly offers this with our wide selection of products for the BMS functional block. This includes battery protection, featuring wider safe operating area (SOA), short-circuit protection with higher peak current rates, more effective parallelization solutions, system cost reduction, and MOSFET protection solutions up to 250 V. Also available is the TLE9012 battery monitoring and balancing IC, delivering best-in-class application robustness, high accuracy voltage measurement, and the lowest system cost.

We also offer a broad portfolio of industrial and automotive grade power management solutions. When it comes to DC-DC conversion, our selection consists of products used in digital controllers, integrated power stages, integrated point-of-load, integrated PMIC, discrete solutions, and automotive grade switching regulators. We offer many different choices for both brushed and brushless motors, including our discrete and semi-integrated solution, which provides the benefit of flexibility and performance optimization. Or our integrated control and gate driver solution, which brings PCB design complexity and BOM reduction, integrated control firmware, performance optimization, and the flexibility to select the appropriate MOSFETs.
