Overview

EiceDRIVER? isolated gate drivers are designed for applications that require high performance and state-of-the-art robustness, for example, solar inverter, EV charger or industrial drives. They offer up to 18 A output current, short propagation delay and delay matching (7 ns), 300 kV/¦Ìs CMTI, and wide range of gate voltage (40 V) to enable bipolar power supply with negative gate voltage. Perfect for state-of-the-art SiC MOSFET and GaN switches.

The X3 Compact family (1ED31xx and 2ED31xx) consist 1-channel and 2-channel devices in DSO-8 and DSO-16 (w/o 2pin) packages. Some of the variants (1ED3127MU12F) offer Miller clamp function to prevent parasitic turn-on, especially for SiC MOSFETs. 1ED314x is the latest product offer best price performance ratio.

The 2L-SRC Compact family (1ED32xx) offers two-level slew-rate control enabling on-the-fly & cycle-by-cycle gate resistor change to optimize gate resistors for both EMI and efficiency. The F3 Enhanced (1ED332x) is the most cost effective family to incorporate DESAT, soft-off and Miller Clamp.

The X3 Analog (1ED34xx) offers resistor-configurability for DESAT (adjustable filter time), and soft-off (adjustable current) through external resistors. For parallel switch, clamp driver option is available. The fine pitch DSO-16 enables 30% space saving, ideal for small Easy module packages.

The X3 Digital (1ED38xx) offers I2C-configurability for DESAT, Soft-Off, UVLO, Miller clamp, ADC, and Fault to simplify the design of highly reliable systems. All adjustments are done from the input side via the I2C interface, enable rapid prototyping, conditional monitoring, and predictive maintenance.

EiceDRIVER? isolated gate drivers are based on magnetically-coupled coreless transformer (CT) technology, which provide signal transfer across the galvanic isolation. Thanks to the CT technology, we offer function, basic, and reinforce isolation, with UL 1577 (VISO = 5.7 kV) and IEC 60747-17 (VIORM = 1767 V) certification. The functional isolation reaches up to 2300 V, which is suitable for the CoolSiC? 2 kV?in 1500 V DC application. All products certified according to IEC 60747-17 tested for 20 years lifetime with safety factor.
