Barely visible, semiconductors have become an indispensable part of our daily lives. We are playing a key role in shaping a better future ¨C with microelectronics that link the digital and the real world. Our semiconductors enable smart mobility, efficient energy management and the secure capture and transfer of data.

Our focus is primarily in setting-up a sustainable cooperation. Only in exceptional cases, we have the possibility to also invest in your company.

If necessary, we will pay for delivering tailor made services to us.

In general you can always apply throughout the year. We may have some challenges with a defined application deadline for selected topics, which will be clearly visible on the website

After agreeing on project scope and commercial terms, we cooperate to reach the defined project result. This can be e.g. a working demonstrator or a reference design.

We will agree next steps, e.g. connecting you to other relevant people in Infineon, define common sales & marketing activities, entry into our partnership program, etc.

Current topics of interest are defined on this webpage. Important is also for us to understand the synergies of a cooperation from your point-of-view (see application form).

No, this is not required.

Only in case we decide to set-up a cooperation project, we will provide a limited amount of free samples required for the project.

  • We define ourselves as an external explorer supporting outside-in innovation with startups.
  • We are primarily focused on strategic innovation goals driven by our Divisions / Operations.
  • We are not an accelerator as we don?t provide coaching or other educational services to the startups. We don?t take equity in the startups we work with.
  • We provide the biggest value that startups expect: close connection to Infineon?s Org Units, a real cooperation project, follow-on focus on generating business for both sides by e.g. involving the startup in our sales and marketing activities.
