LITIX? Power Flex

Controllers for synchronous DC-DC topologies

anchor

Overview

The LITIX? Power Flex family consists of a 4-switch buck-boost and a dual-channel buck controller with SPI communication. Through SPI communication, it is possible to apply dimming and retrieve diagnostic data. The implemented limp home feature increases the reliability of the whole system.

Key Features

  • Dual-ch synch. buck DC-DC controller
  • Constant current & constant voltage
  • High-power buck-boost controller
  • High efficiency (up to 95%)

About

The synchronous concept is beneficial for driving high-power LEDs with maximum system efficiency or to provide a high-power constant voltage supply for lighting and non-lighting application. To give maximum flexibility for different applications both DC-DC channels of the TLD5501-2QV can be operated separately or in multiphase.

H-Bridge architecture is among the most efficient buck-boost topology for high-current applications. The device can work in current mode (e.g., LED driver, battery charger) or as a voltage regulator and is capable of driving multiple LED functions (e.g., LB, HB, DRL) with a single DC-DC converter for a more compact and efficient design.

  • Specially designed for driving high-power LEDs and laser modules in automotive applications with very high efficiency.
  • Power supply for high-power matrix and pixel light sources e.g., LED or laser modules for DMD or parallel LED matrix arrays.
  • Non-LED applications even with currents of >10 A like USB, mobile wireless chargers, and multipurpose pre-regulation like camera modules.
  • General-purpose current/voltage controlled DC-DC LED driver.
  • Compact multichannel LED driver modules (single DC-DC for combined loads)
  • High-current voltage regulator
  • Wireless in-cabin charger
