About Memory Chipset Partners

Simplify your design process and get to market faster - by selecting memory that has been tested and qualified with your chipset of choice.

Infineon works with leading chipset vendors worldwide to qualify Infineon memories with partner chipsets, including MCUs, processors, SoCs, ASICs, FPGAs, and more. Chipset partners get early access to Infineon products and dedicated support for hardware qualification, driver validation, and operating system integration. Many vendors also design and produce reference designs. As a result, you have access to turnkey system solutions that give you a head start in your development. The table below contains links to the pairing charts, which show which memories have been qualified with which chipsets. Select from these pairing charts to shorten your design cycle.

Each pairing chart is a spreadsheet. The rows in the spreadsheet contain 1) a chipset name, and 2) the memories which have been tested with that chipset. The number of columns may vary depending on the variety of memories supported. In some cases memories are recommended, and in others they are qualified. If applicable, qualified software is also specified. To make it easier to find the right information, the spreadsheets are organized in a table by vendor and by interface/type.

Most system designers choose a chipset before selecting a memory device. If this is the case, locate your vendor of choice in the table of chipset pairing charts. Determine which interface or memory type you need, and open the appropriate spreadsheet. In the spreadsheet, locate your specific chipset and select from the list of qualified memories. If you are in an exploratory phase of your design, chipset pairing charts are also a great way of finding the best Infineon solution(s) for your potential chipset choice, and for fine-tuning the selection of memory interface, voltage, density, etc.

Do you have a question about pairing Infineon memory with a particular chipset, whether or not referenced on our site? Do you have a more generic question about Infineon memory support with a given chipset partner? Are you a chipset partner and want to work with us? Please get in touch!
